Pepsi European Championships 2008 Commercial
Radical Media, one of the world's largest creative houses, came to Cambodia in October 2007 to shoot a major commercial for Pepsi's 2008 global campaign to promote the European Championships. Locations included the East Gate of Angkor Thom, the temple of Ta Prohm and the Old Market area of Siem Reap. Body doubles were in town for Thierry Henry, Cesc Fabregas and Frank Lampard, plus some pretty good footballing skills on display. The advert was a massive success, featuring Beckham, Ronaldhino passing the ball around the globe in a dazzling 60 seconds. Hanuman Films arranged all logistics and permissions for this commercial shoot, including accommodation at Amansara and Victoria Angkor Hotel.

So successful was the first Radical Media shoot that they returned for another shoot just two months later, this time a TUI commercial for the international travel giant. This commercial included elephants at the East Gate of Angkor Thom for both a television commercial and a series of print advertisements. Hanuman once again arranged all permissions and logistics for this shoot.

Pfizer Promotion Film
Pharmaceutical giant Pfizer produced a commercial to highlight their foundation work in Cambodia, Morocco and Uganda and Hanuman worked with Drescher Films to make this possible in Cambodia. Filming an intern at the Angkor Children’s Hospital in Siem Reap, the crew had a short but sweet shoot, basing themselves at FCC Angkor Hotel. We also hired a local lighting team for the interiors at the hospital.

Dragonair became one of the first international companies to successfully feature Angkor Wat in a commercial shoot in 2002. Kulikar Sotho worked with Hong Kong-based Moviola Productions as Line Producer, taking responsibility for the entire production in Cambodia. Hanuman arranged all filming permissions, including the sensitive dragon dance shoot at Angkor Wat, and arranged all logistics, such as accommodation, transport and import/re-export of equipment. During the five-day shoot, Kulikar also acted as interpreter for the 15-strong production crew. The commercial covered four countries, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Japan and Taiwan, but, according to the Moviola crew, it was in Cambodia that things ran most smoothly.
